Who We Are

Decision Time is a Bible Believing Church for Christ

Pastor Paapa Owusu-Manu

Paapa Owusu-Manu is an ordained minister of God with a dynamic gift of wisdom and diplomacy for the ministry of Jesus Christ. He was born and grew up as Muslim until his divine paradigm shift to the Kingdom of God. He is an enthusiastic Bible teacher who confidently teaches the undiluted word of God with integrity, without fear or compromise.

Paapa is the Senior Pastor of Decision Time Church. Pastors Paapa and his wife Joyce Owusu- Manu Co- host the Radio Programmes on Rainbow, Hotdigitalonline and Narrow Gate Radios since 2015 “Decision Time Hour”.

Pastors Paapa and Joyce Owusu-Manu have special gift and marriage counselling and hate to see divorce or separation in marriage. He has published more than ten books ” The Secret of Wealth Creation, Decision Children Series – Anger and Aggression, Decision Wisdom Nuggets devotional series.

He has been a teacher for over twenty-two years in both Ghana and abroad (London, United Kingdom). His areas of specialties are Business Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Education, Primary and Adult Numeracy, Internal Verification and Quality Assurance, Teacher Training and Inspection Strategies. He has worked and provided consultancy services to all the twelve HM Prisons/Young Offender Institutes in London Region as an OLASS Advanced Practitioner for quality improvement, coaching, and mentoring. He is  recently worked as a Lead Internal Quality Assurer in all the inner London Prisons and four Private Training Colleges in London.

Paapa has studied in four reputable universities in London to Doctoral level and is a speaker at universities, colleges, churches, and schools on ‘Teaching in Prison as an Alternative Experience’ and ‘Reducing Reoffending’. He has mentored numerous assessors, teachers, tutors, lecturers, and internal verifiers/moderators in London. He is a dynamic and inspirational speaker and trainer on Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) and Offender Education in England. He organises and delivers training workshops to IQA, Curriculum Managers, and Offender Education Managers in England. His training sessions are always oversubscribed.

He is the founder of Decision Time Centre which deals with —

  • Publication of Children’s Educational Materials and resources.
  • Children and Youth Mentoring (Decision Time Prison Talk).
  • Offender and Ex-offender Education: Reducing crime and reoffending through biblical principles (Crime to Entrepreneurship).

Paapa has a passion to support orphans. Ten per cent of Decision Time Series proceeds are donated to orphans’ education and their general well-being.

Pasor Joyce Owusu-Manu

Joyce Owusu-Manu is an ordained minister of God with a practical and supernatural gifts of interpretation of the word of God into Twi. She has over twenty experience of ministerial ethics and women ministry advisor.

She is practical in her approaches  and preaches about everyday life application of living in peace with everyone. Pastor (Mrs) Owusu-Manu is a dynamic preacher who practicalises the Scriptures to everyday life.

Pastor (Mrs) Joyce Owusu-Manu is the Resident Pastor of Decision Time Church in London. She is the head of Decision Women Ministry.  She is a co-host the “Decision Time Hour” Radio Programmes on Rainbow, Hotdigitalonline and Narrow Gate Radios since 2015. Her talented gift of interpretation from English to Twi is driving many Twi speaking Ghanaians in Europe to Decision Time Church as partners and friends.

She is an anointed woman of God with special areas in marriage counselling and prayer.  She hates to see problems in marriage and will strive both spiritually and physical to restore broken marriages.

Pastor Joyce is a hardworking and creative individual. Her husband describes her as woman described in Proverbs 31:10-31.

Her hobbies are fashion and catering and many women come to her for tips for good cooking and tasty of fashion.

What we believe, confess and profess

 God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit

 We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirt.

We believe that God sent His only begotten son to save the world and reconcile man to himself.

We believe that Jesus Christ came in the form of a man, died and God raised Him from the dead.

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The Holy Ghost Baptism

We believe that we are in the dispensation of the Holy Spirit and therefore believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 1:8(NKJV)

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Decision Time Church believes in the nine (9) gifts of the Holy Spirit. Members desire these gifts for the work of the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

1 Corinthians 12:7-11(NKJV)

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same[a] Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

The Holy Spirit the Leader

We believe that the Holy Ghost is the head and leader of Decision Time Church. The pastors, leaders, deacons, deaconesses and the entire congregation believe the foundation of the Decision Time Church is Jesus Christ.

We hold that every member of the Decision Time Church is a partner of the Holy Spirit. He is our  helper, senior partner, teacher, mentor, advocate, comforter, counsellor, intercessor, strengthener and standby).

Therefore, all the signs, wonders, working of miracles, healing power and demonstration the glorious presence of God in the Decision Time Church is to the glory of God Almighty.

John 14:26  (AMP)

26 But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.

The Compassion of Jesus Christ

We believe in showing compassion for people regardless of their background, gender, colour, age, disability, health, wealth and religious affiliations.

We trust in the compassion Jesus Christ our role model showed than mere passion for serving the Lord with hypocrisy.

Matthew 9:36-37 (NKJV)

36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few

Miraculous Signs, Wonders and Healing Power

We believe in the signs, wonders and healing power of God.

We believe  that Jesus Christ heals today as in the days before His death and resurrection.

We believe that Jesus Christ is alive today and forevermore.

Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ Everywhere

We believe every member is a disciple and has the potential to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature in our homes, families, schools, work places, communities, local , regional, national, international and global levels.

 

We believe that the Holy Spirit has empowered us to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15-19 (NKJV)

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

The Five-fold Ministry

We believe in the five-fold ministry and their manifestation in the church today.

Ephesians 4:11 (AMP)

11 And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct]

Water Baptism

We believe in water Baptism. All members of Decision Time Church are not baptised are expect go through baptism class for their water baptism.

Matthew 3:13-15 (NKJV)

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” 15 But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him.

The True Word of God

Decision Time Church is a Bible believing Church and trust that all solutions to problems of humanity is enshrined in the word of God. We teach the undiluted word of God without fear or compromise.  We preach the word of God as it is without using clever lies to take hold of members money.

1 Peter 1:25  (AMP)

25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.”

And this is the word [the good news of salvation] which was preached to you.

Heaven and Hell Reality

We believe in the reality of heaven and hell.

Decision Time Church preaches about heaven and hell both in church and outreach programmes to prepare and alert people about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 20:11-15 (NKJV)

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
